Operation Dream List
Specialized Youth Workshop
Mission: To give students the tools, knowledge, and courage to follow and reach their dreams – both in their careers and personal lives.
Grades: 5-12
Length: 1 hour, 2 hours, or half day

Remember when we were young and had such big and amazing dreams? We dreamed of walking on the moon, becoming a doctor, or traveling the world. But how many of us actually followed our dreams? Unfortunately, the answer is very few. We didn’t have the tools, knowledge, or courage to know where to begin.
Fortunately for kids today, they have more opportunities than ever to make their dreams come true. Melissa Borghorst’s mission, through Operation Dream List, is to give kids the tools, knowledge, and courage to follow and reach their dreams.
Operation Dream List is a fun and interactive workshop that travels to your school or organization. Kids are provided with a curriculum that emphasizes goal planning skills, customized and applied to their individual dreams. They are coached through the process of visualizing, prioritizing, and ultimately achieving their life dreams, while gaining a sense of self accomplishment that extends beyond the classroom and workshop.
Each workshop is carefully designed and customized for the needs of the classroom and its students. Workshop sessions incorporate activities that may include brainstorming, art projects, educational games, and creative writing. Lesson plans are also available to teachers with limited classroom time, where they can provide fun, learning activities throughout the year to inspire their students.
For a limited time, workshops are free to schools or organizations in the Western Washington region. If you’re outside this area but would still like to schedule a workshop, contact us to see how we can work with you.
